Just as God’s original labour brought beauty from brokenness, the ReStory Business Journey is crafted to help leaders embrace meaningful, life-giving work that empowers others and shapes lasting transformation.

What?

ReStory Business Connects are standalone moments where business people can be encouraged with practical business and leadership principles. Each Connect covers a single topic and provides easy-to-apply handles for people to walk away from the session and action what they have learned.

Who?

Business Connects are hosted in small table groups of up to eight people, guided by Table Hosts who create space for meaningful conversation. The setting is professional yet welcoming, and it works well for a wide mix of participants—from senior executives to emerging professionals—giving the broader business community a place to connect and grow together.

How?

The suggested format is a 2.5-hour session, often run quarterly as a breakfast Connect. Everything is packaged in a simple “ReStory Business-in-a-box,” which includes marketing materials, participant workbooks, slide decks, and logistics templates. This makes it easy for churches or hosts to run high-quality events with minimal setup.

Why Year 1 Journey?

Before working on execution, leaders need clarity. Year 1 steers participants through four vital leadership questions:

Q1: Who are we? Answered by core values.
Q2: Why do we exist? Answered by purpose.
Q3: Where are we going? Answered by vision.
Q4: How will we get there? Answered by a strategic plan.

These four pillars establish the foundation for decisive and effective leadership.

Why Year 2 Journey?

Once the RBJ Year 1 is completed, leaders have the option of continuing their journey with the Year 2 curriculum.

RBJ Year 1 guided leaders through the four questions that required attention to develop a compelling strategy and equipped them with personal leadership skills to order their private world. Having clarified their strategic plan, Journey Year 2 now considers how leaders can activate the people in their teams and organisations to actually achieve the strategy.

Leadership is a function that serves to bring order from chaos and beauty from barrenness, for the sake of others.
